The Crossroads of Exclusion: Addressing Increases in Gender-based Violence Against People with Disabilities
FHI 360's Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) team and co-hosts International Disability and Development Consortium (IDDC), Chemonics International and Mobility International USA (MIUSA) presented this event in December 2020 in recognition of the 2020-2021 16 Days of Activism and International Day of People with Disabilities. The event explored work around the world to address gender-based violence toward women, men and gender-nonbinary people with disabilities. Discussion included learning from disabled persons organizations that are spearheading local solutions.
